Can I get a Rebate?

Better Access MHCP:

You may be eligible for a rebate when seeing a Psychologist. This includes MBS Telehealth Services (video or telephone appointments). Talk to your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician about a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). A referral may enable you to claim a rebate of $89.65 per session up to 10 sessions each calendar year.

Private Health Fund:

The majority of private health insurance funds offer a rebate for psychology services. Check with your private health insurer.

NDIS:

You may be able to access funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) if you are either Self-Managed or Plan-Managed.

Booking policy and payment

If for some reason you need to cancel or change your appointment, please give at least 48 hours notice.  Last minute cancellations or no-shows mean that others may miss out and so you may be charged up to the full-fee of the session.

Payment is required at the time of service.  For your convenience HICAPS is available to facilitate rebates, where applicable, to you at the time of your visit.

Home, School and Community visits may be arranged in the North Brisbane and Pine Rivers Region. Please contact Collaborative Psychology via email. There is an additional out-of-clinic charge.
